It's Asperger's. . .Again

My baby girl has it. That's really all I can say right now. It isn't any easier the second time your hear it. I need to chill and regroup, but I'll be back soon, so don't go too far.

I am so sorry, it's true that it does run in families. I have already diagnosed Rachel with ADHD. Sometimes you can just see it developing even in the very young. I have a mom that I know who has a tiny baby. I swear that this boy is autistic and he is only about 4 months old. I can just see it, but I have not told the mom.

We just keep getting hit with this and it hurts so much, but there are things that we can do to help matters. Get her into intervention now, don't spend time debating about it because early intervention is so important.

I hate to say it, but considering it a blessing to know early is important. You can't change it, but you can mitigate it. Autism in general works by slowing the kids down because they can't learn at the same rate as other kids because of all of the sensory stuff going on, so we have to start them way early. Make the calls, I am here for you!!

And take care of yourself. If the mommy is falling apart, the family falls apart. Don't put too much pressure on yourself right now.

Hugs!!!

I am sorry. I can imagine how this feels. My oldest is going to be 6 but I worry about my 2 year old every day.

I can feel your pain and concern. I wish I could help take it all away...
