She has been autistic all of her life and has become highly successful in her field of expertise. She also chooses to share details about her life with autism so those of us who have been pulled into the spectrum can better understand it and help our loved ones achieve their own full potential.
Carol Gray's social stories concept helped us reach Ian in a time when our learning curve was at its steepest. Social stories were the one thing that helped to connect our world and his. We would still be struggling with the basics if not for this approach.
